I'll overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
